Elowen cringed at the sound of thunder. Something's going on up there, she thought, worriedly looking up at roof of her prison on the lowest level of the ship. Is Captain Mirage making a storm?

Meanwhile, Hawthorne was witnessing the storm first hand. "Lower the sails!" was one of the many orders he yelled while trying to regain control of the ship. This might not end well. His eyes went wide at the sight of an incoming island. 

{I can't tell if by 'shipping' in the title if you just mean boats or romantic shipping XDD}

This has to be Mirage's doing. No storm would come in this fast. Hawthorne cursed the leader of the Vindicta. 

It was indeed Mirage.  The mysterious captain seemed to have something in mind, and neither ship could fight it.

"Trying to get control of the ship I think!" She called back, short brown hair whipping around her tanned skin.  "Where did this storm come from?!"

Jeanie nodded in understanding.   "Can't the captain counter it?"

Jeanie nodded quickly, tying a barrel down before running off.
