((Brittish cockney!))
"Nah, not really my thing is it?" He said with a grin.

((P E R F E C T))
"It would certainly seem that way, wouldn't it?" She raised a perfectly arched eyebrow and surveyed him with an unimpressed look.

{XDD I feel that though}
Hawthorne let out a sigh before speaking. "They took my younger sister Elowen captive a while back."

((R I G H T ?))
"Ah, but that's what makes me interesting, ain't it love?" He said. "You lot go parading around like some arist-ocra-cy an' sappin' all the glamor outta the pirate life."
"Oh no," Jeanie said, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry, I didn't realize. Is she alright?"

Sniffling, he shrugged. "I don't know. It's been months now and we haven't heard much from the Vindicta."
Offline
"Or maybe it's because some of us are actually aristocrats. Or even royalty." Atlantis remarked, her eyebrows raised. "You never know these days, what with all the runaways and stowaways. I'm sure you'd know quite a bit about the latter, Timor. That's how you got your start on the high seas, isn't it? Stowing away on some lowly ship as a starving orphan?"
Offline
"I'm so sorry." Jeanie breathed. "Perhaps they'd let us see her? If we don't try to break her out, just to make sure she's alright?"
"Tha's right an' I'm quite proud of it!" Timor said. "Got my start the proper way, a thief on the sea, holdin' up the tradition!"
Offline
((Oh, gosh, I love Timor already XDDD))
"Tradition?" Atlantis's eyebrows floated towards her hairline. "My, my, you're even more hopeless than I thought you were."
Offline
Hawthorne shook his head. "I doubt it. Those lowly, dirty scum would rather just taunt me."
Offline
((Thanks! XDD He's fun!))
"An' I don't intend to change it love." He winked.
"Perhaps I can talk to them?" Jeanie suggested.
Offline
"How you've survived this long is beyond me." Atlantis muttered, her weather rune pulsing with thousands of radiant colours in the tropical sunshine.
Offline
He rolled his eyes to that. "If you'd really like to."
Offline
"Lady luck must have a thing for me." He said cheekily.
Mirage sighed.
Jeanie nodded decidedly, her mind set on it now. "I will."
Offline
He waved a hand. "On you go, then. I'll be waiting back here."
Offline
Jeanie headed off with purpose.

((Anyone wanna rp Ender?))
Jeanie approached the Vindicta calmly, head high and immediately called for the first mate.

The ship Solis is filled with conviction as it heads for the island. Or rather...it's supposed to be.
Raez, more infamously known as the Southern Cardinal, is taking the opportunity that is comprised of no one other than his crew being able to see him to hang out near the prow of the ship. The breeze works its way with difficulty through his brassy hair.
He's unsure what to expect, but from his experience, encounters with even just one other Cardinal is always interesting enough. It's always different each time. He himself rarely tries to go into direct conflict with the others, but sometimes it doesn't seem like certain others carry that sentiment. He can only hope that sort of impulse will not find itself on the menu too frequently today...or something else of that sort.
Offline
His First Mate, Ruby McManson, stood behind him. "Anything planned for this meeting Captain?"
Offline
Raez doesn't flinch, somehow. "Not get killed," he answers promptly as he faces her, "somehow."
Offline
"If I were allowed at the meeting I'd guard you. As it is, I can only watch from the ship." She said, but she was looking at her gun holster as if considering it anyway.
Offline
(Wait guys xD are the Cardinals even allowed to bring weapons/runes into the meeting? I'd think not, so I intended Raez to say that as a joke, but yeah xD)
"Probably for the better." He crosses his arms loosely across the railing with a faint smile on his lips. "You gotta make sure the others don't jump into the ocean while I'm gone and involuntarily feed the sharks. You're usually the one in charge of that anyways." He adds, "Besides, I'm not that bad at fighting, am I? I'm sure I can guard myself against the others."
Offline
Ruby looked him over once. "Tough call. You might pull through." She said, possibly joking.
((I mean it seems legit, they probably wouldn't want to take a chance))
Offline
"'Might'," Raez echoes, making a noise through his teeth by using a sharp exhale of air. Whether or not his first mate is joking, he definitely is. "Glad to know my own first mate has such sheer confidence in me. Wow." He adds as he slightly uncrosses his arms and gesticulates towards the air, "I sure hope the rest of the crew has such confidence. You all set me up for success."
Offline
"Might." She repeated, this time definitely joking if the quirk of her red-painted lips said anything about it.
Offline
"Oh boy," Raez states as he heaves a huge sigh into the air. "On second thought, it might have been more favorable if I could bring you along to the meeting. That way I know you're not spreading propaganda about me while I'm gone."
Offline
She grinned this time. "Don't trust your First Mate, Captain?"
Offline
"I did, I did," he insists as if purposefully swerving a serious question. "I'm not so sure now." He gives the island another good look to gauge the distance before continuing, "The element of trust is a careful thing."
Offline
"It is." She agreed, hands folded behind her back. "As is loyalty."
Offline
"Yes." He stares intently into the ocean. "I wonder if the ocean could exist if there were as many fish in the sea as breached alliances."
Offline
"Probably not." She replied. Looking up at the island before them, she snapped to attention. "We're here. Drop the anchor!"
