"Ah, shoot, already," Raez murmurs, before he turns around and shouts, "Can y'all hear her? Anchor down and prepare for landing!"
Offline
Ruby began making her rounds, calling out orders and setting up the ramp for the Captain. "Looks like the others are waiting for you." She said.
Offline
"They probably just all got held up by being in the same place," Raez observes with a lopsided grin while keeping his voice down, using a hand to somewhat block out the sun. Because the narrator doesn't know crap about pirate ships, let's just say he's been doing useful stuff in the meantime as well.

As the ship landed and they secured it, Ruby found herself a good vantage point to watch from the ship and - if there was trouble - shoot to defend her Captain.
Timor glanced up as they arrived. "Oi! 'Bout time he got 'ere!"

{Oh, Ender! I'll go check his form and then I can RP him}

((Cool!))

{XD so there's no personality on his page so I'm just vguessing}
Upon seeing Jean arrive, first mate Ender started towards her. "Hello, m'lady! Is there something we can help you with?"
Offline
((That's what I'm doing with Mirage XDD))
"Hello!" Jeanie said with a gentle smile. Unlike most pirates, she really didn't seem like the type of person to be out stealing and fighting. She seemed....soft, from her features to her voice that held a slight aristocratic lilt. Her tanned skin and short brown hair may have fooled some, but she really looked a bit out of place and practically screamed 'I pose no threat'.

{XDD big oof}
Ender wasn't sure what to make of Jean. She definitely stood out from the others, and she spoke unusually friendly for someone who just came from the Seabelle. "Is there something you need?" he asked.
Offline
((Yeah, that does make him a bit easier for me to rp though, more freedom, less worry about being ooc))
"Yes, I was wondering if my ship's first mate and I could see your prisoner - that is to say, the one from our crew." There was no hostility in her voice as she made the request, and her smile seemed genuine.
Offline
{True!}
Ender shook his head. "No, sorry miss. I can't do that without my captain's permission. You'll have to wait until after their meeting."
Offline
"But how do we know the prisoner is safe, or even still alive?" She asked calmly. "For all we know, whatever arraignment our Captains make could be a moot point if the prisoner in question is deathly ill or worse. And besides, isn't - and do pardon the term here please - 'checking on the goods' customary in any sort of trade or transaction to make sure both parties are satisfied?" She tilted her head, still with that same smile. Evidently she liked big words.

He studied her thoughtfully, thinking over what she had said. "I'll bring her above deck, but only for a moment. Stay here, and don't touch anything." Ender turned around and headed below the deck. A few minutes later, he walked back up with a very confused and tired looking Elowen.
Elowen appeared to be fine for the most part. Her clothes were dirty and her hair was tangled, but she looked healthy.

During that time while waiting, Jeanie had waved over Hawthorne to come quickly.

Hawthorne reluctantly climbed into the Vindicta and waited by Jean. "You got them to agree?"
Offline
"They're bringing her up for us to see her." She said with a grin.
Offline
"They are?" He sounded genuinely impressed.
It was then that Elowen was brought above deck. She blinked to adjust to the harsh light of the sun. When she noticed Hawthorne and Jean, her heart skipped a beat. Am I being released?
Offline
Jeanie gave a friendly smile and waved.
Offline
Elowen waved back.
"Well, here she is," Ender called. He didn't move any closer. "She's perfectly unharmed."
Offline
"I am admittedly a bit new to this, but I believe that's for the First Mate to decide, as the Captain is unavailable, yes?"
Offline
Hawthorne, with his hawk rune, could easily notice she was unharmed. "She's fine," she agreed. "But make sure she stays that way."

Back with the other Cardinals, Atlantis turned to see Raez coming towards them and lilted, "It's a pleasure to see you again, Captain Plutoneus."
Offline
Jeanie smiled kindly. "Excellent! I'm sure this has been beneficial for everyone involved!"
Offline
Ender nodded slightly. "I'm sure. Is that all?"
Offline
Atlantis turned her attention back to the other two Cardinals and said, "Let's get this meeting started, shall we?"
Offline
Jeanie glanced at Hawthorne, as he was technically in charge here, being her superior.
"Aye, I got things to be doin' so let's not drag this out eh?" Timor said, hands in his pockets. "First order o' buisness then?"
Offline
Hawthorne slowly nodded. "Yes. That should be all." Spinning on his heel, he started back to the Seabelle.
Offline
"Thank you for your cooperation." She said, giving a slight curtsy to Ender and Elowen in turn before following.
Offline
Elowen sadly waved goodbye to them.
Hawthorne waved back, clearly upset he was leaving her. She'll be free by the end of the day.
Offline
Jeanie stayed close by his side. "Well, you know she's okay now."
