"Hmm, let me think." He said, pretending to ponder a moment. "For starters I want the bounty you got from the raid you stole from me three months ago, including the Classari ship."
Timor looked between them with a grin.
Jeanie shrugged.
"Oh but you are. You're emotions and thoughts are spinning, constantly spinning back around to where they were before. You'll get nowhere like that." The girl went on.

Atlantis's golden eyes narrowed, and she snapped, "I'm afraid you're too late, Captain Audun. I sold the Classari ship two months ago."

"I'm going plenty of places." Hawthorne straighted his long coat. "And I'm just fine."

"Then get me another one. Same model and same - no, better condition."
"Oh, little sunfish, to focused on what's in front of him that he doesn't see what else there is." She muttered.

"You're still not making any sense."
Offline
"Of course I am you just aren't understanding." She smiled serenely.

Hawthorne shook his head and decided it would be best to ignore her.
Offline
Jeanie blinked. "Well that was peculiar."
Offline
"Very strange," he agreed. "And very vague."
Offline
"Does she even go here?" Jeanie whispered.
Offline
"Who knows." He shrugged.
Offline
"Oh!" She said, remembering something. "You have a rune don't you?"
Offline
"I do indeed have a rune."
Offline
"Can you tell me about it?" She asked, whipping out her notebook.
Offline
"I have a hawk rune," he began. "It allows me to see further and hear further. There's not much else to it."
Offline
"Wow, and this is constant?" She asked, scribbling down notes.
Offline
"More or less."
Offline
"Incredible. Did you undergo any physical changes? How do your eyes cope with the new distance they can see? What are the limits to your inhanced senses?" She asked, pen flying across the pages.
Offline
"No, no physical changes. It took a while to get used to the new vision, and I'm not sure what kind of limits there are."

(Y'all lol you don't wait huh xD)
Raez took his sweet time even getting off the ship. He checked in with the crewmates he felt necessary to check in with and made sure the ship was at least ready to make preparations for takeoff once it came to it. By the time he confidently strode off the ship, he was already several paces behind the rest, and by the time the others had started conversing or bickering or whatever they had been doing, he was already very behind. He took the time to gauge the surroundings and see if anything had changed from the last time he had been here, and the only indication he actually really gave towards the other Cardinals was a polite "Likewise." to Atlantis.
Nonetheless, by the time the meeting actually starts, he's with the others already. Of course, he's not making a big effort to make himself more prominent, but his presence is there with him, a calm sort of tranquility that somehow seems very, very temporary.

"Perhaps we could test it at some point?" Jeanie asked.
Offline
((@Galaxian Sorry about that! XDDD))
"That'll be simple enough. To be clear, you will return Elowen Johnson to me upon the delivery of a Classari ship and the bounty I captured from you?" Atlantis asked.
Offline
((Oof yea sorry lol))
"That's right." He said.
"Bit cheap ain't it?" Timor asked idly.
Offline
"We might be able to."
Offline
Jeanie smiled excitedly. "Excellent!"

Atlantis glanced over at Timor and explained, "The bounty I stole from Mirage in a raid three months ago was twenty chests of gold, three chests of rubies, two chests of diamonds, a Classari galleon ship, and a chest of priceless pink pearls from the Harmonia Islands."
Offline
"Aye, but ain't that a relative o' your first mate? Seems a bit cheap to me, payin' only that much for her. I've gone for more."
Mirage seemed to be considering this.

Atlantis paused, her golden eyes focusing in on Timor. "Correct me if I'm wrong, Captain Raspith, but you don't have a rune, do you?" She mused, the metallic golden eyeshadow on her eyelids glittering in the sunlight.
Offline
"Not yet love but I'm in the market for one." He said with a grin.
Offline
"If you have no rune yet, that means you have no defence against another rune-wielder." Atlantis mused. "And seeing as how you're the only Cardinal without a rune, I find it fascinating how you throw caution to the wind and involve yourself in business that has nothing to do with you."
