"Impressed?" He grinned.

"No, I'm just considering how much time it would take me to make a quick detour on my journey to rendezvous with a contact after we're done here." Atlantis smoothly replied. "After all, I'm quite sure I could manage to summon up a storm big enough to sink a ship or two relatively fast." She smiled politely at Timor, the silent threat evident.
She knew that she'd pay dearly for such large rune magic, but at this point, she felt it was quite worth it.

"It's a date then love, I'll 'ave my cannons and gunmen ready." He winked.
Offline
"It won't be necessary, however, if you simply stay out of my business." She added calmly.
Offline
"Aww, now you know I can't do that! You're too easy to rile up!"
Offline
"I'm merely displeased, Captain Raspith, that you are so obviously trying to undermine my attempts at getting back one of my crew members." She replied with a steely yet calm expression.
Offline
"Just tryin' to help a bloke out." He said.
Mirage looked up. "And you do have a point. She's the sister of your First Mate, yes? It would cause quite the ruckus if she wasn't retired with you after this meeting. You'd loose face with your crew, and your First Mate would resent you." He tilted his head. "My price has gone up."
Offline
Atlantis smiled coldly at Mirage, and curtly replied, "My crew knows that I would happily sacrifice my life to save them, and they would happily do the same for me. My First Mate knows that I will not rest until his sister is recovered, even if I have to kill for it. You will name one price now and we will settle this affair. If I find that Elowen Johnson has been harmed in your care, then there will be nowhere you can hide from me and my wrath. I will kill you and everyone on your ship if I have to, Captain Audun. So, name your price and then we shall settle this matter."
Offline
He tilted his head in a nod, but his slight smirk said that he didn't fear her wrath. "In addition to the aforementioned price, I will require a trunk of gold coin, and a half-hour headstart when we leave the island."
Offline
Atlantis tamped down on her bubbling rage, and gave him a curt nod. "I'll have your payment in three days' time. Meet me back here, at the docks. We'll do the exchange there."
Offline
"Very well." He replied.
Offline
"So we have a deal?" Atlantis held out a hand.
Offline
"Deal." He replied, shaking in return. A slight static shock ran through his hand as the two storm-rune owners touched.

A matching shock ran through her own hand the moment her skin touched Mirage's. The scent of ozone thickened in the air.

Timor looked on calmly.

"Good. Now, moving onto the next order of business." Atlantis leaned back in her throne of gold-veined marble. "The Classari have been becoming more and more brutal with their attacks, and they're much too close to Castaway Island for my liking."

"Aye. I 'ear they got a new un' comin' in too." Timor said.
Offline
"Yes, I've heard those rumours myself." Atlantis said, steely and grim. "A raid might need to be launched upon the Classari soon."
Offline
"Great! Thanks for volunteerin' love, tell me how it goes."
Offline
"Oh, I'm not going to do anything unless they start being a serious threat. For now,I'm simply going to keep an eye on their various fleets."
Offline
"Well isn't that nice o' ya, givin' 'em a chance an' all. I say we shouldn't wait until they've killed half our comrades to put 'em in their place!"
Offline
"Yes, and are you going to help put them in their place, Timor Raspith?" Atlantis asked in a dry tone.
Offline
"I'll do my bit if the need comes." He said. "But I ain't chargin' in all by my lonesome."
Offline
"Neither am I." Atlantis primly replied.
Offline
"Not so willing to toss 'round that rune now are ya?"
Offline
"No, I'm looking at this as a strategist. You, however, are looking at this as a game."
Offline
"Life's a game love, ya just gotta make sure ya know when the rules are 'bout to change."
Offline
"And I suppose you're an expert at playing this game of life and death?" Atlantis asked.
Offline
"I'm still here ain't i?"
Offline
"Good answer." Atlantis replied, quirking a brow. "Perhaps you aren't a complete idiot after all."
