"Perhaps." Atlantis mused.
Offline
"Then it would be wise to keep tabs on them, and be careful during land trips."
Offline
"The heartland is a viable source of power," Raez observes lightly.
Offline
"Perhaps, but the Classari's true strength is on the water, in their formidable navy power." Atlantis said.
Offline
"Aye, but they ain't been livin' 'ere for years, ou' on the sea. They're jus' tourists 'ere in our home."
Offline
"Awfully rude tourists," Raez muses.
Offline
Timor nodded. "Aye."
Offline
"What an apt description of the Classari." Atlantis drawled in a dry tone.
Offline
"I'm a right poetic bloke." Timor said smugly.
Offline
"If you say so." Atlantis murmured with a small shrug.
Offline
"Was there anything else we needed to cover?" Mirage asked, trying to steer the meeting back on track.
Offline
"What to do about the Classari. Shall we plan a joint raid at some point? And if so, when and where?"
Offline
"Mmm, best to hit them sooner rather than later...they're only getting stronger as time passes."
Offline
"We could hit different major spots as to prevent them from even having the ability to counterattack," Raez offers.
Offline
"I want to walk away from these raids laden with treasure. I suggest we launch an attack on the small fleet escorting Governor Rosemonte's daughter to her marriage." Atlantis said, a cold gleam entering her eyes.
Offline
"Sounds like you almost have a personal motive other than just treasure. There are plenty of other treasure-laden officials on the sea. Did Rosemonte pick one of your nerves, Captain Atlantis?"
Offline
Timor grinned gleefully at Raez's implications. "Oooooh! Cat fight?"
Offline
"Governor Rosemonte seems to think that he could cheat me out of what is rightfully mine simply because I'm a woman. He also seems to have forgotten who I am." Atlantis replied in a frosty tone.
Offline
"Oooh, nice! I'll bring the peanuts, you bring the chairs, we'll sit back an' watch them duke it out!" He grinned at the guys.
Offline
"Rather, you sit back and watch me slaughter them all." Judging from the steely gleam in the Northern Cardinal's eyes, she didn't seem to be joking.
Offline
"Wha'ever works love." He said with a shrug, lifting his flask in a 'cheers' motion.
Offline
"I will not tolerate insults from impertinent, arrogant governors." Atlantis said, her voice pure steel.
Offline
"Yeah! Empowerment!" He said, taking a swig.
Offline
{Oh my gosh XDD}
Offline
(XDDD I think he's just looking for an excuse to drink tbh...)
Offline
{Honestly I can see that XD}
Offline
Raez just smiles like the others are talking about throwing a birthday party for the unfortunate governor. He doesn't bring out the flask filled with water he has for the cheers.
Offline
((XDDD))
Atlantis regarded Timor with narrowed eyes for a few moments before she huffed and looked away. "Just don't get in my way. Any of you."
Offline
"'Course not love, I ain't got a death wish."
Offline
Raez huffs. "Of course not," he says, looking offended. "We have better things to do than potentially starting up a war with a fellow Cardinal in a conflict we never even understood fully in the first place."
